Who are you and what sets you apart?

Hi, I’m Denise. I am a rather quiet and reflective person, and when I am in a new situation, I need some time before I really open up. I like to listen to others and always try to be there when someone is in need. It is important to me to treat people with respect and kindness, and when I am passionate about something, I really try my best. Even when there is a bit of chaos, I still manage to stay in control of the situation. And yes, I can occasionally be a few minutes late, but I can always be counted on. In my spare time, I like to keep active: I play tennis, beach volleyball, and even wakeboard when it happens. I love learning new things and I believe a lot in personal growth, but at the same time I also appreciate my routines because they give me structure and stability.

What is your career path?

A few months after completing my training, I decided to spend a year in New Zealand. It was an incredible and really formative experience for me. In 2018 I returned to Germany with new friendships and lots of new stimulation, and shortly after that I started a new job. In the summer of 2020 I joined etichetta.it and have been with the team ever since.

How did you join etichetta.it?

The company was already well known in the area and had a very good reputation. When I was looking for a new challenge, I decided to give it a try and sent an unsolicited application. My first attempt was unsuccessful, but when the right position opened up etichetta.it contacted me back and I was really happy to start my journey in Customer Service.

What is your role at etichetta.it and what is your typical day?

Since October 2023 I have been the human resources manager at etichetta.it, thanks to an internal promotion. While previously my job was to assist clients, today I am the point of reference for my colleagues when they need to deal with important and often sensitive issues. My activities include selection interviews, induction of new employees, activities related to monthly payroll, and all the organization that revolves around these processes. In reality, no day is ever the same and each one brings with it new challenges and opportunities for growth. Etichetta.it also supports me a lot in training, so I can stay up to date.

What makes your work special to you?

It has always been natural for me to connect with people and understand their needs. In my work this ability is essential, because trust is the basis of everything. Each person is unique, and it is precisely this diversity that makes my work so interesting.

…and be part of etichetta.it?

Definitely the work environment. There is a really positive atmosphere, the relationships between colleagues are great, and there is almost a family atmosphere. Although it still remains a job, it is often not perceived as such. There is respect, there is a lot of laughter, and there is always someone bringing a cake.

What was the most significant moment of your experience at etichetta.it?

It’s hard to pick just one, for me the highlight is the experience as a whole. Etichetta.it really makes sure that employees feel good at work and valued, partly because of the various benefits the company offers. Among the best moments are definitely the company events, such as the summer and Christmas parties, when the whole team comes together to have fun.
