Why is etichetta.it evolving?
Since 2018, etichetta.it has been producing high-quality labels and supplying the most diverse industries, from wine to cosmetics, the chemical industry and the dietary supplement industry. The market continues to grow and now it is time to evolve, optimize processes and take the next step into the future:
The future
For the last months of 2020 and for the years to come, the decision has been made to merge our European finance teams-including the etichetta.it team-with our production facility in Germany. As a result, etichetta.it will be registered in Germany as a German company as of December 1, 2020.
These changes will also have an impact on the way we issue invoices, the way we account for VAT, and the transmission of invoices, which will no longer be done electronically but only by sending them as PDFs.
How will VAT be applied from December 1, 2020?
How etichetta.it will calculate VAT depends on a number of factors. Here is our quick guide to help clear up some of the confusion about how your business will be charged VAT. We have also created an explanatory table:
Company with VAT number in Italy; Shipping to billing address
Your company will be charged 0% VAT.
Company with VAT number in Italy; Shipment to third parties
If the delivery address is in IT, EU or anywhere else in the world, 0% VAT will be applied.
Italian companies but not registered for VAT purposes.
The VAT applied will be 16 percent. Important: Due to the Covid19 pandemic, this rate was initially set until December 31, 2020.
Foreign Enterprise, Shipping to Italy
If you do not have a VAT number, VAT will be charged at 16%. Important: Due to the Covid19 pandemic, this rate was initially set until December 31, 2020.
Foreign enterprise, Shipping out of Italy
If you are outside the EU, VAT will be charged at 0%.
