Customised labels with barcode printing
At etichetta.it, we can print barcodes and QR codes on your roll labels and sheet labels. Barcodes can be placed directly within the print file or provided separately in an Excel file. We have many papers and films available that are suitable for barcode printing.
In the case of sequential numbering of barcode printing, simply provide us with the number range. When the numbering is irregular, please send us a table with the corresponding data and we will take care of the rest. Barcode printed labels, whether EAN 13, code 128, code 39 or QR codes, are part of our daily job.
What is it? How does barcode printing work?
A barcode is a collection of data readable by a scanner used to describe the details of your product. If a barcode is not printed correctly it cannot be scanned, and can result in printing difficulties and high business costs. A proper barcode label contains the correct data, shape, and size to ensure readability during printing.
Different types of bar codes:
GTIN
EAN 13
EAN 5
GS1-128
QR code
Print code GS1
Datamatrix
Can multicolour barcode labels be printed?
Barcode labels can be printed in multicolour, but we strongly recommend classic black barcode labels. Barcode labels require as much contrast as possible to make them easier to read. A black barcode on a white background is the perfect combination. The barcode background should be very bright, but not metallic, and the bars should be dark and rich in contrast to the chosen background. It is also important to place bright areas around the bar code and to leave a safe distance of at least 8 mm from the edge.
